Upcoming Fund Raising Events for

Guardian Angels Bird Sanctuary

Sunday 26th October 2025 - Guardian Angels Bird Sanctuary Autumn Fayre at Greasley Sports & Community Centre 10am - 3pm

All proceeds made by Guardian Angels Bird Sanctuary will go towards the upkeep of our resident birds and any other birds in need that arrive in the near future. We will have a number of fund raising ideas for the day including a raffle and a tombola. We have 3 games to play to win a variety of prizes. These are "Play Your Cards Right" and the incredibly popular "Hook-a-Duck". The other one is "Roll the Ball" which will be a ranking event. Get one of the top 20 scores of the day to gain ranking points and appear on the ranking list on our Facebook page. We will also be selling food including bacon cobs along with tea, coffee and cold cans of pop. There will also be a big array of delicious home baked cakes and biscuits. There will be 25 different stalls run by local people selling their wares. There's bound to be a few Christmas present opportunities available to buy or win. It's totally free to enter and it promises to be a fun day for all the family. (See poster below)

Saturday 15th November - Beeston Christmas Lights Switch On at Beeston Square, Foster Avenue Car Park & along Beeston High Rd

The event will include a Christmas market, Santa's grotto, street theatre, fairground rides, live music, and carol singing, culminating in a firework display after the lights are switched on.

Saturday 22nd November -Eastwood Christmas Lights outside Lawrence Veterinary Centre, 166, Nottingham Rd, Eastwood NG16 3GG
